Vox was founded on a simple idea: that technology should make professional guiding easier, more inclusive, and more scalable. Over two decades later, that same logic drives everything we build.
Today, Vox operates across 150+ countries, supporting 5,600 business partners who deliver guided and self-guided experiences to 30 million travellers each year. Our portfolio covers guiding hardware, AI live translation, self-guided tour apps, multilingual content production, destination pass platforms, and venue management services, all developed and operated in-house, and all backed by worldwide logistics and dedicated technical support.
We work across travel, tourism, arts and culture, from global tour operators and cruise lines to city DMOs and independent museums. What connects them is a shared need for technology that works reliably in the field, at any scale, in any language.
Vox holds UNI PdR 125 certification, issued by Bureau Veritas and accredited by ACCREDIA, covering gender equality and social responsibility across our operations. Our ISO 9001 certification, also accredited by ACCREDIA, applies to our quality management systems across the full service lifecycle.
On the environmental side, Vox has phased out single-use plastics across its offices, introduced eco-recyclable dispatch cases for equipment shipping, and runs an equipment lifecycle programme to reduce waste at end of product life. We work with local governments and business partners to promote sustainable practices in the destinations where we operate.
We approach sustainability as an operational discipline, not a communications exercise.
Vox has been building guiding technology and tourism services since 2001. Each milestone in our history reflects a deliberate expansion into new capabilities, from hardware manufacturing to software development, content production, and destination management.
The Vox team is made up of nearly 500 professionals across multiple countries and disciplines, developers, content producers, logistics specialists, sales managers, and destination experts. The diversity of the team reflects the diversity of the markets we serve: travel, culture, technology, and local government rarely speak the same language, and neither do our clients.
Vox operates in 150+ countries through a combination of direct offices, regional partners, and logistics infrastructure. Our Rome headquarters coordinates global operations, with dedicated teams covering Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
