GetYourGuide, a leading Online Travel Agency (OTA) known for offering a wide selection of experiences, tickets, and tours from third-party providers worldwide, sought to enhance their product offerings by creating their own unique packages. To differentiate their offerings, particularly in popular Italian venues, they aimed to add value to standard venue tickets, making them more attractive and engaging for customers.
Solution/Outcome
In collaboration with GetYourGuide, Vox developed a range of "ticket entrance + self-guided audio tours" packages. These packages were designed to provide significant added value to the standard venue tickets by integrating Vox's POPGuide digital audioguides. This solution not only enhanced customer engagement by offering an enriched and interactive experience but also positioned GetYourGuide's packages as more appealing and competitive in the market. By delivering these added value services, GetYourGuide has successfully elevated the overall customer experience, driving increased satisfaction and loyalty.
The Result
With guides speaking into a Vox transmitter pre-set to its own unique frequency, voice commentary was clearly heard by passengers within a 200-metre radius, allowing each tour to flow in a fluid motion and removing the need for the guides to raise their voice. Princess Cruises and their passengers were highly satisfied with their Kirkwall experience. With this increase in customer satisfaction Prince Cruises decided to include Vox Tour Guide Systems in their 2018 UK programme. European Cruise Service now have included the Vox Tour Guide System as an inexpensive, added-value option to complement any future client shore excursion programmes.
